The High Priestess

intuitionsubconsciousmysteryinner voice

Summary

The High Priestess sits between the pillars of Boaz and Joktan — darkness and light, the seen and the unseen. She guards the threshold of knowing and invites you to listen inward before acting outward.

Symbolism

The pillars marked B and J frame a veil embroidered with pomegranates — the veil between conscious and subconscious. The crescent moon at her feet and the solar cross on her chest bind lunar intuition to a balanced will. The scroll in her lap, labelled TORA, is the law of inner truth, partially hidden.

Design Notes

Render her in cream and sage with a single gold accent on the crown. Keep the B/J pillars visible — they are the card's signature. Avoid bright color; the entire piece should feel like moonlit linen.
